Taiwan Airport Transfer Guide: Airports, Fares & How to Book

Updated 2026-10-01 · 7 min read

Taiwan has three main airports, and all of them are served by fixed-fare private transfers. This guide explains how zone-based pricing works, what happens when your flight is delayed, and how to book a ride without speaking Chinese.

Airports at a glance

Most international travellers arrive at Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), about 45–60 minutes from central Taipei. Songshan Airport (TSA) sits inside Taipei City and serves domestic, cross-strait and some regional routes. Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH) serves southern Taiwan.

How fixed zone fares work

goGMO charges a flat fare based on your pickup district, the car type and whether it is a drop-off or a pickup. Traffic jams and detours do not change the price — the total you see when booking is the total you pay.

Reference starting fares for a standard sedan (drop-off to Taoyuan Airport): Taoyuan City from NT$800, Taipei and New Taipei from NT$900, Hsinchu from NT$1,200, Taichung from NT$2,100. Exact fares depend on your pickup address and are shown instantly when you book.

What is included

Every booking includes the following — no hidden extras added later:

  • Flight tracking: add your flight number and the driver follows the actual landing time. Delays do not add waiting fees.
  • Free waiting: 90 minutes after landing for international flights, 30 minutes for domestic flights, counted from the actual touchdown time.
  • Free cancellation up to 4 hours before pickup.
  • Bank transfer discount: pay by bank transfer and save 3%. Credit cards pay the listed fare.

Night flights and early mornings

Transfers between 23:00 and 05:59 are subject to a night surcharge. The surcharge is calculated and displayed when you get your quote — never added at the curb. Online booking is available 24 hours a day, including red-eye and dawn departures.

How to book in two minutes

Booking does not require an account. Enter your pickup and drop-off points, choose a car type and time, and the fixed fare appears instantly. After confirming, you can look up your driver and vehicle information from the My Trips page using your phone number.

If your pickup point is unusual (remote areas, multiple stops), contact the LINE customer service first and the team will confirm availability.
